How it works
From one email to your first look
Step 1: Connect
Enter your work email and accept Finrose's Slack invite. Connect QuickBooks Online there, then Mercury; Finrose reads both and writes nothing.
Step 2: First look
Minutes later: 12 months of your books, summarized and checked.
Step 3: Approve in Slack
Each morning Finrose posts your new Mercury lines with proposed entries. Fix one by typing. Once an approver turns booking on, they click Approve to book them.
Integrations
Your tools
Finrose connects to the tools you already use. It never moves money or pays a bill, and books nothing without an approver's click.
- QuickBooks Online
- Read every day. Entries are booked only after an approver clicks Approve.
- Mercury
- New transactions every morning, read only.
- Slack
- A private channel for your company. Every card, question and approval happens there.
- Other banks
- A statement from your bank, shared in the channel.
- e-conomic
- For companies in Denmark, in place of QuickBooks Online.
First look
What you get
Twelve months of your books, checked and summarized in files you can forward.
Source: QuickBooks Online. Read 19 Oct 2026, 08:32 EDT. Booked, not bank-verified. Report R-0001.
- Summary card
- The headline, then cash, runway, last month's result and a fourth measure that fits your business, 13 months of net result and up to 3 things to fix.
- 2-page PDF
- The same story on two pages, ready to forward to a cofounder or an investor.
- Workbook
- An Excel file with the figures and the trial balance they come from, so your accountant can check every number.
- 11 checks
- Finrose checks that your books balance and that two ways of reading them agree, then flags what needs a fix: undeposited funds, uncategorized balances, no entries in 30 days.
Trust
What you control
- Read-only until you approve
- Finrose reads your ledger. It books an entry only after an approver on your team clicks Approve in Slack, and anyone in the company can cancel.
- Every number traceable
- Code computes every figure from your ledger; the AI model writes none of them. Each figure traces to an account row, and checks run before anything is sent.
- Sensitive accounts
- Sales tax payable, payroll liabilities, owner draws and equity are flagged in every batch and decided one line at a time.
Finrose doesn't file returns, run payroll, move money or give tax advice.
